I was just checking up with all my old accounts and got this notice that one of the regency boards I joined long ago has moved to yuku — Talk of the Ton. Wish I had more time for go on everyone’s board. The banner looks oddly familiar. I know it’s from a Signet Regency but cant place it.

I also got an email out of the blue from my makeupalley.com account that I would be paid $100 if I test out a new Shiseido foundation. Since Shiseido and Bobbi Brown are my two favorite cosmetics companies (which I have always declared loudly and proudly on that site), I told them that I’m there. I love trying out new foundations. Woo!

After a year, I still not all that comfortable with blogging — if I can really write, I would want to be paid for it, yo — but seton’s bro has asked me to fill in for his blog about HDTV for a month. Ah family. I dont even have HDTV so this has all the making of a disaster! If I aint posting here, you’ll know where I’ll be.
Ah, I just noticed that Lora Leigh has a new offering from one of my favorite series of bad guilty crack, the Breed Series — Dawn’s Awakening. Gotta pick that up from Borders today.

Seton, it’s awesome to have you back blogging! Have you read The Spymaster’s Lady or In the Highlander’s Bed yet? I loved both of them… and I’ve been meh about Maxwell for a couple of her later books. So I was more than surprised that I loved ITHB as much as I did.
But you must read TSL. It’s a masterpiece.

Great updates, and congrats on the foundation. I’m always a little bit leery about testing out new products, especially ones that go onto my face. And best of luck blogging about HDTVs. I have no clue about them. Heck, I don’t even know how they get all HD. Whatever. I’d rather read a book than watch TV.

Ugh, I needed to kvetch about Barnes & Noble so bad yesterday. I went to pick up Dawn’s Awakening last night and it wasnt out. I waited 25 minutes while they called upstairs, downstairs, the backroom, seeing if they can find the box with the books in it and of course I left emptyhanded as a reward for my patience.
