Mount TBRI’ve been eyeing my TBR in preparation of TBR Day which is next Wednesday. On that day, a group of bloggers are going to post reviews of books from their TBR Pile on the same Wednesday of each month. If you’re interested in participating, details can be found here. (There are incentives!)

So I’ve been looking at my TBR and some of the books in there have been buried for so long that I really have no idea when I acquired the book much less why I acquired the book to read. Note: this is the second of a four-book series. I highly recommend that you read the first book, Sleepless at Midnight, first.

Plot: Caroline, a widowed Viscountess, still mourns the death of her late husband even after 3 years. Yet, she has been feeling her loneliness a lot lately, especially after reading the book that has taken society by storm — the explicit Memoirs of a Mistress — six times! Surely, that is what is making her suspectible to the practiced charms of the rakish Daniel, Lord Surbrooke, a man who has been hankering after her for ten yrs.

Short and to the point: Typical Avon offering — frothy, fun, and sexy.
